What We Do

The Band performs at Concerts, Fetes, Carnivals and Contests around the Country as well as providing music for Ceremonial & Civic Parades.

The Band also performs at the Birmingham International Tattoo as part of the National Youth Marching Band.

The Band has strong Town Twinning Links with the town of Eschweiler in Germany, particularly with the village of Durwiss and with the bands Brass on Spass and Die Kaafsack. The Band actively takes part in Karneval in Eschweiler whether it is the whole Band or a representative group joining forces with the Reigate & Banstead Twinning Association.

The Band is also a Royal British Legion Affiliated Unit linked to the Horley Branch of the Royal British Legion.

The Band has also undertaken a number of Summer Tours to Germany, France, Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, and Italy.

However, don’t think it is all performing and nothing else. The Band holds a number of Social/Fund Raising events throughout the year as well Annual Camp in August, Christmas Party for the ‘younger members’ and our Annual Post Christmas Dinner Dance for the ‘older members’
